The Unforgiven—a newly-published true crime book about the drownings of three children in an Illinois lake—is about to be published as an audiobook.
Tantor Audio on May 21 will release an unabridged version of the book by co-authors Edith Brady-Lunny and Steve Vogel. The eight-hour narration is by Keith Sellon-Wright, who serves as a voice of The Wall Street Journal, narrating selected articles for the daily audio version on Audible. He also narrated the audio version of Vogel’s Reasonable Doubt, another true crime book that was a New York Times best-seller.
Having put voice to more than 50 books, Sellon-Wright’s acting career has spanned a wide variety of television shows ranging from “Wings” and “Seinfeld” to “Mad Men” and “NCIS.” He appeared on the season-ending episode of Showtime’s “Shameless” two months ago.
The Unforgiven: The Untold Story of One Woman’s Search for Love and Justice chronicles the 2003 drowning deaths of three children, the follow-up investigation and trials of two persons—including the children’s mother—on murder charges. It was published as a trade paperback and an e-book earlier this month.
Tantor Audio, based in Connecticut, is a subsidiary of Recorded Books, the largest independent publisher of unabridged audiobooks with operations in the United States, Great Britain and Australia.
