Another ax murder, another time

In Reasonable Doubt, I wrote about three family murders with similar modus operandi that occurred within a few months of the Hendricks murders.  I didn’t write about an ax murder case that occurred in nearby Springfield, Ill., two and a half years earlier because it was significantly different.  It, however, is in the news these days.
